Responsibilities
The instructor will engage in a variety of learning support and institutional practices, advising, and mentoring of students; identifying and implementing assessment measures to achieve course, program, and college learning outcomes; participating in team-based activities; student cocurricular activities and college governance; incorporating pedagogies that support best learning practices; and expanding of instructional delivery options available to students. Faculty are expected to demonstrate and maintain competence throughout their employment at the college.
Instruction in the following courses may include but not be limited to: Intro to Marketing, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Advertising, Marketing/ Management Seminar, and Business Management. The typical teaching load is 30 credit hours. This position will also be responsible for teaching, recruiting, and advising the Business Marketing/ Management program students at the college.
Qualifications
Required: Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Business Administration and Marketing. Evidence of thorough and accurate knowledge of discipline.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration. Two to five year of previous teaching and advising in community college or secondary education.
The success full candidate must be acculturated or be willing to become acculturated to the community and demographic flavors of the rural Midwest.
