Responsibilities include preparation, teaching and conducting lecture and laboratory courses as assigned including but not limited to develop syllabi; facilitate student learning in classroom and lab settings, recruit, advise, tutor and evaluate students. The typical teaching load is 30 credit hours per academic year.
Classes will include but are not limited to Advanced Arithmetic, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra. Teaching assignments may include some evenings.
Master's degree in Mathematics or related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics preferred. Previous teaching instruction in community college or secondary education preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with 18 credit hours in Mathematics also considered.
