Responsibilities
Provides clinical instruction and supervision to students in a controlled hospital and/or laboratory setting. Includes the grading of nursing care plans and clinical papers, making assignments, some laboratory skills instruction and occasional meetings.
Qualifications
Associates degree to Technical Certificate, current Kansas RN licensed, BLS and CPR certifications required. BSN or MSN preferred or willing to work towards the degree.
Minimum of two to three years clinical experience preferred. Previous teaching instruction in community college or secondary education a plus.

Competitive salary. Partial benefits include: matching annuity; Part-time SCCC tuition reimbursement for employee and dependents; and participation in social security (FICA) and state retirement programs (KPERS).
Salary Range: $ 30 per hour
Position Status: Part-time, up to 20 hrs. per week

Selection Process
The search committee will conduct all minimum qualification appraisals as set forth on the position announcement and job description and reserve the right to limit the number of interviews granted. Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant an interview. Applicants selected for an interview will be notified of the time and place of the interview.
