Responsibilities
Responsibilities include preparation, teaching, and conducting courses as assigned including but not limited to laboratory courses and clinical supervision. Duties may include but not limited to develop syllabi; facilitate student learning in classroom and lab settings, recruit, advise, tutor, and evaluate students. Teaching assignments may include some evenings and occasional travel.
Instruction in the following courses may include but not be limited to: Fundamental of Nursing, Medical/ Surgical Nursing, Gerontological Nursing. Typical teaching load is 30 credit hours of instruction per academic year
Qualifications
Minimum Required: Associates Degree or ADN certificate; Kansas Register Nursing License; and BLS certification. Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Nursing or subfield. Previous teaching instruction in community college or secondary education.

Selection Process
