As an adjunct instructor, you will have the opportunity to bring your accomplishments and expertise into the classroom, giving your students more than just a textbook education. 

Adjuncts are hired on a per course basis. Hours vary depending on the type of course offered. Classes are held morning, afternoon and/or evenings. 

The positions listed below are adjunct faculty positions for disciplines in which the campuses have hiring needs for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. Including but not limited to:

  • English Comp, Liberal Arts, Public Speaking 
  • History, Psychology, Philosophy
  • Business, Business Law, and Computer Technology
  • Mathematics, Biological, Physical Science
  • Certified Nurse Aid, Certified Medication Aid
  • Automotive Technology and Diesel Technoloy


**Instructor must be able to teach on campus or on High School Areas such as Liberal, Southwestern Heights, Ulysess, Meade, Hugoton, Moscow, and Satanta.**

Qualifications:   Master's degree in teaching discipline preferred.  Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline minimum in transfer courses.  Technical course qualifications are dependent upon discipline and course you are teaching.  Please contact for more information.

Salary/Benefits:  Adjunct pay varies upon education level. 

Adjunct or a member of their dependent family may receive tuition benefits equal to the number of hours taught for the semester with a maximum of three (3) credit hours. Adjunct may apply for professional development grants after one semester of employment and who are under consideration for employment the following semester.

Selection Process

The search committee will conduct all minimum qualification appraisals as set forth on the position announcement and job description and reserve the right to limit the number of interviews granted.  Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the applicant an interview.  Applicants selected for an interview will be notified of the time and place of the interview.  Interviews are usually conducted on campus by the search committee.  Additional interviews and/or teaching demonstrations may be required.
